Our daughter, visiting from Berkeley, has a plum that she wants to remove but might not get to this year. It creates a terrible mess with fruit, and I mentioned to her that there were sprays that would prevent fruiting. The fruit itself is very disappointing.

If one wanted to eliminate fruiting completely how could they treat that tree?
