I am picking some Misty and O'Neal right now. The O'Neal tastes straight up sweet while the Misty is straight up tart, either case isn't necessarily bad.

The Misty blueberries seem like a good choice for mixing in muffins and pancakes or dipping them in chocolate while the O'Neal are good to straight up eat. I'm pretty satisfied with both and the berries themselves are much larger and flavorful than what you find in the store because I can let them stay on the bush for much longer.

Here I am about 3 weeks behind you two, can't wait to start picking

New varieties to me this season will be Pink Lemonade, Eliot and a classic Jersey.

Congrats Shazaam! It's been along time coming? I hope you got more than one Sweetcrisp plant though cause one is not enough! I'm just about done picking here in Houston. A few straggler berries on Emerald, Jewel and Sweetcrisp. Sunshine blue is coming on strong right now and will be done in another week.

I'm jealous......my only Sweetcrisp is in it's 3rd year, but didn't set any fruit this year. Maybe next year :-)
