Am I hurting my grapes

I have 9 new plants that I planted back in the spring. They are slowing coming along. I have been using pine bark for mulch. My understanding is that pine bark is slightly acidic. Is this hurting my young grapes? Is there a better mulch that I should be using?

Pine bark shouldn't hurt them at all. I've been growing mine with pine bark for a long time and they're thriving.

I have acid soil and I mulch my grapes with their own leaves (also acid). No problems :).
