Here is the bottom brace.

I had to redo the trellis because one 4X4 pulled out after a rain storm once I put tension on the wires. I cemented in the posts with the holes larger at the bottom and screwed anchoring cleats at the bottom of the posts. It has been fine since then.

Love the brace idea. Kudos to you.

Net support would be easy. Just run a wire on top of the two top posts and hang netting over it and secure at the bottom.

If the net sags too much in the middle set a couple of 1/2" dia. (#4) 2' rebar halfway into the ground on either side in the middle and loop a 10-20' 1/2" id PVC tube over the rack to support the net in the middle. Repeat in between if needed.

I added net support this year. I ran a cable over the top then three loops of 1 1/2 black pvc. it was quick and easy.

Nice..updated picture would be nice, how do you find getting the old canes out of the netting? Pretty elaborate bracing, I probably would have put in one or two 4X4 post along the row and lay on top galvanized pipe or rebar between the post, would get rid of allot of bracing which makes it hard to work around.
