| Growing up in California while hiking camping and fishing I often found and ate Wild Plums. I know they are not the best tasting but they were always good when I was hungry. Now that I'm older I would like to grow a Prunus Americana. The problem is that my yard is narrow and I'm worried it will grow suckers in my neighbors yards. Is there some kind of barrier I could plant it in? If so how deep would it need to be and how large would it need to be to allow for healthy growth? Has anyone ever done this before? |

| Thisisme, You could buy a 55 gallons blue plastic barrel drum and bury it. Plant your P.A. in it. This will prevent the root from suckering. Good luck. Tony

| That sounds like a good idea. Just cut the bottom off and bury it? |
