| Hi from the uk, need some help with this native strawberry of yours :) iv been growing out fragaria virginiana from seeds for a few years now with some success, as in good germination, no problems with any disease and have noticed a varying degree of variation in berry shape which has been interesting, but not much in the line of size improvement of berry size until this seedling, i always thought fragaria virginiana was a smaller growing berry but this one is a good size, just out of interest do the odd ones in the wilds tend to get as big?, many thanks Stew |
