Hello. Would anyone be able to identify this disease between the crotching of branches on my mystery apple tree? There is no sap pushing out and the tree seems healthy otherwise. The bulges seem to grow quite a bit faster than other parts of the tree.

The galls look the same but mine don't appear on any area but the crotch of the branches, and not all of the branches have the disease. Thanks for the tip though. I'm going to research apple bur knot some more to see if I can find out anything else.

Distribution can b same as on your tree. Sometimes it's at only one or 2 sites on an individual tree. Same outcome.
