apple tree seeping from graft

I have an arkansas black apple tree that was planted this spring. There seems to be something seeping from the top of the graft area. The tree seems to be growing just fine and has lot's of new leaves. We have been in a drought with temps of 100 degrees. We had some rain last nite however. I have been watering once a week with a slow flow. The tree is regularly sprayed for insects.

Not much can be done, you can try to cut clean the bark/tissue to the wood and seal with Dr. Farwell's heal & seal or use the white wood glue.
