reviving nearly dead peach tree.

I haven't lived in my house that long, so I'm still finding new things. Yesterday I was picking raspberries when I noticed there was a peach tree hiding back there. Its about 7' tall and maybe an inch and a half diameter trunk. Its obviously badly neglected. It had about 10 leaves on the whole thing and 1 1" peach that fell off when I touched the tree. I think a combination of peach leaf curl and everything growing around it, shading it out has nearly killed it. As a fun project (I don't care whether it pulls through or not), I thought it might be fun to revive it. If I cut all the brush back, so its in the sun again, fertilize it, and prune it back really hard, do you guys think it will put out new growth?

I just fertilizer tree first and start removing growth that stopping the sun light. It want take much fertilizer sun get to going peachtree grow fast given a change. Water Peach tree take less water most plants to grown tree when needs water 2 quarts on each side week plenty
