The most essential sprays are at petal fall (when flowers lose petals) and 10-14 days later for protecting fruit. After that it all depends on the pest complex in your region and your particular site, but it is usually too late to protect your crop if not sprayed previously.

You need to know what you are spraying for before you spray. If you want specific advice in this regard (that is actually useful) you probably need to submit photos of symptoms.

There is also the great resource of your county cooperative extension, where you can bring samples of damage and they can hopefully perform diagnosis and a treatment strategy.

Wow...OK...too late for this season! Thanks so much for explaining that to me! It makes so much sense and is to the point - which I greatly appreciate. I have been putting off getting involved with my county cooperative extension...because...really, I just haven't taken the time to stop and search them out. But I will do that asap because I have so many fruit trees, a large veggie garden, a large flower garden, not to mention chickens and rabbits. I'm assuming they can help me with all of that if I have questions, which I ALWAYS do...
