grafting weeping cherry branch onto fruiting cherry

Is it possible to graft weeping cherry onto offshoot sub - branches and do they still weep? Should I wait to graft if the cherry is in the middle of fruiting? Has anyone done this before?

Most weeping cherries are grafted onto normal rootstock, but the question is, what about grafting at the branch level alongside stella bing and other assorted cherry on the same tree? Still weep? Can the weeping cherry pollinate the others?

Weeping cherry should be graft compatible and will still weep if so. I don't know about pollination, my weeping cherry looks like a prunus avium (sweet cherry ancestor) but there are different types of weeping cherry.
