I've had a Beauty plum in my yard for four years. It is a nice looking, healthy tree. It has a 4" diameter trunk. It has given me 2 plums, both last year. This year it doesn't look like there are any plums on it. I've got pluots next to it that have been in the ground 1.5 years that are fruiting nicely so I don't think it is due to anything I'm doing or not doing. I'd like to get something else that produces more...maybe an Bleinheim apricot or another pluot. My wife tells me that I should have more patience when I tell her that I'm going to get rid of it. Any advice? Keep waiting or cut my losses?
