| Hi I'm new here
I have a nectarine tree that wasn't doing so well. It is now making a comeback but some off the branches have very different leaves then the rest of the tree. At first I thought that the branch was a weed growing really close to the tree but upon closer inspection I don't think that is the case. I'm pretty sure the tree is grafted so might it be a branch from the rootstock. What do you guys think. Sorry for my lack of knowledge but I'm new at this. Thank you in advance. |

| Yes, that is likely a sprout from the rootstock. Usually I cut them off unless I might want to graft or bud onto that tree later. Then I just keep the sprout pruned back. |

| Ok thank you. I'll cut it back then. |
