Took a bite into one this morning off the tree and figured I'd take a picture. The really good ones taste like peach sherbet!

I let it set too many fruit, but even so it's just affected the size not the flavor.

My peaches are the size of peas right now! Nice looking peach. Are they considered more red flesh??? Seems like a lot of bleeding going on there.

What's bleeding?

Yes, they are mostly typical interior but some have streaks of read and some have a lot of red.

I like to follow this rule Frank:

'Desert Gold' peach doesn't get nearly as much love as it deserves. I assume the deep red flesh you see is an environmental trait. DG is very fine eating in my locale. They are long gone from my lot, but are certainly not forgotten. I started harvesting them here back in April:

Delicious!

I too love Desert Gold Peach. Does great where I am at.

Mr. Clint:
My Eva's Pride get red like that but not my Desert Gold. Mine look similar to yours and harvest in early May.
