Container kiwis

Hi
I am interested in getting a pair of kiwi vines but it would have to be potted. I was curious if it was possible to put a male and female kiwi vine in the same pot if it were very large.
Thanks in advance

Yes. Should work fine. Just mark or otherwise remember which is which, and use selective pruning techniques to keep the male smaller -- you don't need nearly as large of a male vine, just big enough to provide a decent pollen crop. That way, the female can use most of the space to maximize fruit production.

If they grow anywhere nearly as vigorously as hardy kiwi, it is going to have to be one heck of a big pot, though, like 30 gallon or larger.

Umm, do you realize how big -- err, HUGE -- those things get?

Mine engulfed a 4X8 overhead support. And that was with regular and frequent pruning. the uprights 2-inch diameter galvanized pipe.
