| People, Grafted a bud onto an olive tree branch, and cut off the upper part of same branch just above bud to stimulate growth. But after about 2 months, no bud sprout. But, just above the bud the tree is sprouting new shoots- about 3-4" abopve bud. At about that 4" above point is where I cut offf the branch. Should I cut off the upper branch section COMPLETELY- just above bud? Im afraid that somehow, that branch will die, then bud also will die. Thanks |

| Can you post a picture? That would help, because people could see how old the rootstock is, how the graft is placed and what competition it has, that sort of thing. |
