 o
Fruit tree for North Florida and Western NC

I want to buy a fruit tree for baby's birthday and at a loss for what to get. The tree must be able to: 1) live in a large pot 2) make it through the hot summers in FL 3) preferably make it through most of the winter in NC 4) not be too big to move around after 2 or 3 years.
Suggestions???? I want to be able to transport the tree with us when we move from here in N Fl to WNC.

Thanks!
