Another blackberry question

I was just wondering how quickly new shoots grow. I've got brazos, Kiowa, ouachita, rosborough and triple crown. Most have new shoots already, but only the ouachita is growing fast. The others, shot up and are looking really good, but aren't getting tall. I'm being patient with them; just wondering if this is normal. Also, one of the brazos and one Kiowa don't have new canes yet.

I'm gonna wait it out, but is this normal? The ouachita is roughly 15" by now, but everything else is less than 5". All were planted in April.
