Arctic Star, Snow Queen, and Honey Fire all about 26 brix. All were superb but I'd give the edge to Honey Fire. Can't beat the nectarines. Best fruit I grow.

Brady and David:

I haven't had many good ones from a store or even from fruit stands in CA. You do have to grow your own. But even that's not nearly as easy as it sounds. I have to water starve mine to get to the mid 20s brix. That's where the really good ones reside. Some have been 30 to 34 brix. But above 30 and things can go south, like funky flavored skin. Flesh is still great.

Brady:

I planted a Fantasia this yr, outside not in the greenhouse. I think it's still alive but I'd have to check to be sure. I know the Mericrest bit the dust and Indian Free is barely hanging on. All smoked by 23F in April when growing rapidly.
