Hi,
I replanted 10 red currant bushes 2 years ago. First year they didn't do much, and now into second year they had very poor crop and absolutely no new growth. Furthermore, some of the branches are just dying off and all the other have small and pale green (almost yellow) leaves.
My soil is very sandy, but when replanting them I dug up big hole which I filled with compost soil and every spring they gt mature manure and in summer organic fertiliser (for berries). They have enough water.
To add - next to these bushes I have 3 raspberry plants and they had vigorous growth in the spring but now are also getting yellow leaves.
Any idea what am I dealing with?
