Hi Gang...i've been monitoring my Raspberry and Blackberry bushes this year daily after i found out about Cane Borers last year and i've killed a couple and noticed bore tunnels on the canes i've tipped this year only to have more tunnel out, i even had plants i bought at Lowes and they had tunnels at the top of the handles meaning that they were already infested with them when i bought them in April.....seems the only way to get rid of them is to look for tip dieback and prune on new shoots and actually looking for them on the leaves or about the bushes and kill them with a fly swatter or by hand, hard to get rid of these suckers when you buy plants with larvae already dug in.
