| I have noticed on my 6 yr old loquat, some bark that is gone on the south side of the tree. Also there is some damage to the lower trunk. I think there are some type of bug infesting the tree trunk. I see small holes and various bugs here an there. What should I do? |

| THAT'S a six-year-old loquat??? Are you sure you didn't mean 60? And if it's 60, it may be near the end of its life. Twisted roots like that can cause "choking" itself and/or fungal infections. Carla in Sac |
