| Does anybody have a mix formula for Kocide 3000? Duponts website says half to three quarters of a pound per acre, but Im looking for a mix per gallon. Also how much and what kind of oil should I add?
Im not too sure of the question Im asking in regards to the oil additive, so forgive me in advance if Im off base. Thanks

Geez, I can believe I left out the pertinent information. Im planning on a fall and spring spraying plan for my apple, pear, cherry, and peach trees. There are about 115 total trees.

Do you mean dormant spraying? I use 2 tbsp/gal Kocide 3000 for dormant spraying. Add any oil which is labeled for dormant use at the rate on the bottle -- usually something like 1/4c per gallon if I recall correctly. Scott

Thanks Scott. Yes, Im planning for dormant spraying. I did a search here for dormant copper spray and found most folks use 1-2 tbsp per gallon. When I get the Kocide will the label say which kind/type of oil to mix? Thanks again

Joey, spray products never give you directions on what and how to mix with them. Thats like asking the fried chicken recipe to tell you how to make dessert. All the mix is is putting two different things in the sprayer so you don't have to do the spraying routine twice. A few products cannot be mixed, e.g. sulphur and oil during the growing season, but most things can be mixed to avoid multiple sprays. Scott
