| I planted all my fruit trees 6' on center, ina fruiting wall type orchard, facing south. I think I have screwed up. All of my trees are on unknown S/D rootstock. I was going to use spindle and UFO techniques, but I think my trees will be to vigorous? Should I dig out half my trees during dormancy and start a new row? |

| The fruit wall and all that do not appeal to me, just so you know my point of view. I would move as you suggested. I have trees on 12' spacing due to yard size. they were planted in 2009. I manage size and shape with pruning and really like my trees. They would be touching each other now if I were not pruning. I will eventually let them touch, but making them earn it. |
