| I have had raspberries for about 10 years. most years more than I can eat when they're bearing.
2 years ago I expanded the patch. The new area is bearing on last years canes right now but yield is very low compared to normal, the berries are small and rather crumbly, and they don't seem to ripen all the way. Last fall I mowed the older area down as I had read that occasionally this is beneficial. berries are mulched, fertilized lightly, and have been watered adequately. comments? if this does sound like virus what do I do next? thx in advance for help.
