Dapple fire pluots

Anyone tried them?

The are delicious! They are cross between a plum, peach, and Nectarine, or 50% plum, 37.50% peach, and 12.50% nectarine.

The flesh is like that of a lychee fruit. The shape and the aroma of a nectarine, and flavor of its own.

Looks like a plum seed. Is it clingstone?

Very delicious looking fruits. I am still hooked on Black Velvet. Still got a couple dozen from Sam's.

Beautiful, now I am inspired. I have a flavor supreme and a 4-n-1 but now I have to order this pluot tree as well! I love pluots and I love plums. Keep up the good work!!!

Itilton, the fruit is semi-clingstone.

Tony, I love Black Velvet apricots, too; the bad news is that our local Costco might not carry them this year.

ahgrower, I bought them at my local Costco; this variety is available for commercial growers only.

Sorry to hear that I can't get that variety treewise, so I am gonna be satisfied with what I have thus far. However, I will look to see if they carry the fruit at Sam's Club? I am no where near a Costco that I know of, but I will look it up online. Anyway, I am glad that you are enjoying them and do take a bite for me!!! LOL.
