| hello, i put in a raspberry plant about two years ago and it is bearing fruit. now the mother plant has sent out suckers and there are more plants in a garden bed close by the original plant. but while the mother plant is bearing fruit the suckers are not. the new sucker plants have only come up this year. is it a matter of time before they bear fruit too? or will these never bear? thank you!!!! |
Follow-Up Postings:

| They will have fruit either this fall, if it is a fall-bearing variety, or not until next year if a summer bearing variety. |
