| I live in socal, I have a avocado tree thats about 15 yrs or so. Never had problems with it always produce lots of fruits. I don't remember it ever dropping young fruts off the tree. They are small n some about the size of a egg n smaller n some are very small n black. I would guess we have lost about close to least 100 pcs or more.
Any ideas or solutions? Thanks Terry |

| I'm new to avocado growing, so I'm still doing my homework. But 'cado fruit drop appears to be similar to citrus. The issue can be tied to poor pollination and/or the amount of fruit that the tree can safely bear. Here is a decent link regarding Fruit Drop. Since avocado fruit drop is fairly common it shouldn't be a cause for concern unless all your fruit is lost. |
