| I am growing cantaloupe for the first time. The plants seem to be doing well. I have treated for downy mildew. I have a mound with 4 hand sown seeds that have turned into vibrant plants. I have one vine that has produced a fruit and just passed the fruit stem the vine has split. It almost looks like it has unraveled. I will attach a picture. Thanks for any help. |

| Probably split due to changes in water status. If it is still growing well then there shouldn't be any issue. |
