Found some yellow donut peaches at the farmer's market with completely yellow skin and yellow flesh. No reds, pink or orange tones, just yellow. The flavor was reminiscent of mango. Who is growing these? I think one cultivar may be 'Harvest Moon'. Want scion. Badly.

It sounds like TangOs.. Scott

TangOs from NJ breeding program is yellow. The rest of the country can buy a tree from Adams County Nursery. But those in CA are, I think, shut out there. Many are probably privately held or limited releases to big commercial growers. I'm thinking there are probably hundreds of the later being grown in CA now.

"Found some yellow donut peaches at the farmer's market with completely yellow skin and yellow flesh...The flavor was reminiscent of mango..." About four or five years ago I bought a few pounds of pluots that tasted like a very sweet mango. Best pluots that I ever had.
