| A weird thing is happening to my Fuerte avocados this year when ripening. I have never seen this before. The avo feels soft and ripe. However, after cutting....I find that they are soft/ripe on the small end and outsides....but all around the seed area they remain too hard to eat! This inside area actually has a strange somewhat darkish off-color. What is going on here??? |

| You are either early or late with your 'cados. Fuerte are harvested from November to March. I bought some Fuerte around town this season that were off the hook -- but that was months ago. |

| I would say late. Starting to rot. In So Cal- Vista area we picked our Avo's in Nov/Dec. |
