Aphids: spray with insecticidal soap.

I've had aphids earlier. They were larger and green/gold colored. Didn't realize these were too.

Thanx, Mike

Yeah I found white looking ones on peppers. Soap works, Lady bugs love them, so i'm happey everytime I see them. And soap doesn't hurt lady bugs btw.

Watch out for the ant population as well. Ants basically farm aphids (they love the "honeydew" they produce). You may have to deal with the ants, which should help eliminate aphids.

Try to attract lady bugs as well.

" Try to attract lady bugs as well."

Any idea how? Next year I'm adding some flowers to my garden to attract beneficial insects. I found some sites, and looked for info on what to plant. Here is one site of many, great prices for seeds...

Here is a link that might be useful: Flowers for Beneficial Insects

Aphids can come in black, white, grey, green, red and probably others I have not seen. The standard plum aphid is the green one in my climate, I only get those leaf curling guys on my cherries.

Thanx all. I did notice some ants but did not connect the two.
