What is that? If that's just foliage, I apologize for my naiveness. It's my first loquat and I've not had it long.

Loquat fruits are golden color.
Green things are leaves.

In Northern Hemisphere loquat flowers in late winter and fruits in early to mid spring...

The loquat flower clusters are big, fragrant and unmistakeable. Depending upon the age of your loquat, you may not get them for a few years. The fruits grow in clusters and initially are green and will turn color with ripening.
