From this link it appears to be Japanese type of plum, with origins in Australia or NZ. The possible pollinators listed by some nurserys there I found on a brief search look to be Japanese also..

Thanks for the link Eboone. Its weird that raintree sells it as a euro and alot of other nurseries in Australia and NZ do also. Im guessing I will figure it out once it starts growing.

Looks like misleading marketing and/or ignorance about merchandise is not limited to US nurseries :)
