No Fruits !!! 20 Years Old Indian Gooseberry Tree

Hi,

I am newbie and just started to learn gardening. My Dad planted this tree 20 years ago and it does not yield fruits. 2 years ago we saw some fruits size of peas and they fell down on ground after a few days. After that there were no fruits. I am attaching the picture of the plant. Please advise what can be done? Other trees in my town are loaded with hundreds of gooseberry.

Sounds like lack of pollination. Perhaps inhospitable weather at time of bloom?

They do indeed need cross pollination from a nearby tree. ID guess within 20 feet. Gorgeous tree though!
