I only got 7 peaches this year because of the harsh winter...but man were they the sweetest peaches ever...what a shame.

Local orchard has 1/2 acre planted out with a dozen varieties of peach...only Reliance is producing fruit this year. In my orchard, Georgia Belle is bearing this year, they won't be ripe for another month or so.

An off year is a good time to do major pruning to get height back down where you like it. I have said this before about reliance. (a guy near me has one) I would rather have Red Havens 3/4 yrs then Reliance 4/4yrs.

no peaches this year anywhere in Michigan. It's a pity because usually that is all I eat (as fruit) from July 15- Sept. 15.
