| If you are looking for another excellent Asian pear tree to your collection, Chojuro is the one. Nice russet color. Ripening around mid August in zone 5. Very juicy, sweet, and no grit cell. Tony |

| It's my favorite - and has been, for at least 15 years. Glad it was one of the first I planted. Mine have a nice golden brown 'butterscotch' color - either you picked that one far too early, or I'm wondering if you have Chojuro... |

| Lucky I picked them a little early to stretch out the season a bit because they were loaded. They will get sweeter and more russet toward September. Tony |
