I found this on one apple tree (out of 40) and only on a few of the leaves. I removed them but was wondering if anyone can I.D.

They just look to me like the small dwarfed leaves that I always see on my apples. There are always some of them usually out near the canopy edge in a cluster of leaves. They are always undersized and more rounded than the others. You barely touch them and they fall off as though the tree has aborted them. I notice they just appear here and there. Those leaves do look bigger though.

sun scorch/scald.
Too few to worry about.
And occurred too long ago to be important today.
Also, too late in the year to do anything for it.

Yup, they came off at a touch but were full sized and were close to each other. Did not seem to effect anything else nearby.

More curious than worried. Thanx
