They just look to me like the small dwarfed leaves that I always see on my apples. There are always some of them usually out near the canopy edge in a cluster of leaves. They are always undersized and more rounded than the others. You barely touch them and they fall off as though the tree has aborted them. I notice they just appear here and there. Those leaves do look bigger though.

Too few to worry about.
And occurred too long ago to be important today.
Also, too late in the year to do anything for it.

Yup, they came off at a touch but were full sized and were close to each other. Did not seem to effect anything else nearby.
