| Supposed a Patriot, as labeled from Gurney's. This is first year with berries, but they are late.

Follow-Up Postings:

| They look good. if you planted them this year, that could effect the ripening date. I doubt if anyone can identify them just by looking at them. Many blueberry varieties look the same, especially in pots where there growing ability is limited. |
|
| Thanks. I've had it for 2-3 years. There must be a way to identify the plant. Will continue to try and identify it. If it is a "late" variety, there can only be a handful of choices. I know it's very hearty...probably zone 4 and warmer, because it survived outside over the harsh winter in the container, and one of my less hearty z5 ones died. Will see what happens next year with the ripening time. Am assuming August ripening would put this one in the LATE category for sure. Probably not a Patriot though as supposed. |

| Looks like Elliot. |
|
| Thanks, you're the second person that thinks so. Someone else in another thread also mentioned Elliot. |

| I know a lot of blueberry bushes look similar but your bush looks like the bluecrops I planted this year. |
