If I eat a Fuji Apple and a orange will the seeds produce the exact or similar fruit and can oranges be grown in Kansas?

RE: Question About Seeds

No and maybe...problem with oranges from seed is you are going to be waiting a long time...like 8+ years from seed....probably the same with the apple... plus apples are cross pollinated, so you'll have no idea what you'll end up with... and no...Kansas isn't the place to grow oranges...try south Texas/Gulf Coast/Florida/California and Phoenix... or invest in a greenhouse....now you can always grow out those seeds and graft a known variety onto them...
