| I have a peach and some other fruit trees in pots that are producing well for me. I was wondering if it is a particularly bad idea to add flowering annuals to the pot next year. I would suspect that they would compete for nutrients, but they are well watered and cared for currently. Thinking of doing this to add a bit of interest to the pots other than just the trees. Thanks! |

| I'm not an expert but I think that's generally a bad idea. As you said they will compete for nutrients and water. I've heard compost or mulch is your best bet. |
