RE: What Causes Apples To Be Deformed on Tree

Apple maggot causes deformed apples. They are the toughest pest to control. No matter how much you spray they fly in from old neglected apple and crab apple trees. 1. You can catch some of them them on plastic red colored apples coated with tanglefoot. 2. And you can also bag some or all the apples you want. 3. Be sure to pick up fallen apples before more flies hatch.
