Ok Scott, Uncle! I give up, where do I order one???? My 'un-named' peach by the way (five pounds of them) yielded the best peach jam I've ever eaten. Sooo good! Obviously a seedling but cooking peach. Worth keeping! Please tell me where to order the Sanguine Tardeva. Mrs. G

Mrs. G, thats another Scott's Backyard Exclusive (TM). Trees are only $999.95 plus shipping .. :-) Actually, I'm pretty sure the only source is the USDA .. see here. It is a Todd Kennedy find. You could email him at Arboreum and see if they would consider stocking it. Other than that its learn to graft. I might throw a few buds on some seedlings if I have some that are big enough (I'm moving all the peach volunteers to a nursery spot to make my own tree replacements). That and Sanguine Pilat are looking to be excellent red-fleshed peaches. Sanguine Pilat was on a weak root and I moved it this spring so no fruit this year but it should fruit again next year. I think Sanguine Pilat is also a Todd Kennedy find; my source is CRFG (via our departed friend Grover aka Aceofspaces). Grover also gave me the Laroda plum I am enjoying so much this year. Scott

Scott - if 'Scott's Backyard Exclusive' starts selling to the public there are some of us who would be interested in buying and trialing that variety! :)

Scott thanks! I have already contacted Arboreum and their trees are also 'unobtainium' related. Whats a girl to do without this peach????? Mrs. G
