RE: Looking for some sweet cherry cions

You said in the other thread that you plan to put the cherry scions onto a fig rootstock. Is that true? If so that won't work. You need a cherry rootstock like Krymsk 5 or Gisela 5.

RE: Looking for some sweet cherry cions

Thank you you saved my time and efforts. I have these two fig trees which need the fig wasp for pollination and since the fig wasp does not live in my area I am stock with two healthy trees 8 feet long but not even one fruit ripened for 3 years. I hate to kill them I have lots of memories with them. I think now I will propagate them with fig scion which I have. Thank you again.
