One minute fruit compote recipe

I know this is not the harvest forum, but this recipe is meant for those folks that might not be too much into recipes so are probably not reading that forum. Its so simple its hardly a recipe.

I have some fruits that are clearly better cooked but either I don't have the time to cook them or the amount of the current harvest is to few. My simple solution is to cut up the fruit like you would for fresh eating, put in a bowl, and microwave for one minute. Simple enough?

I have recently been getting Heath Cling peaches tricking in bit by bit. They are excellent when cooked but are not very good fresh, they are too meaty/chewy. So I have been doing this a lot lately. I also use the technique on apples and pears. Occasionally I will add cinnamon or a bit of sugar. Also a variation is to fry in a touch of butter instead.
