I just picked my one and only one from my tree probably a little too early, but it was being chewed on by some bugs. It was firm with a nice tart flavor anyone else have this apple and likes it?

I planted one last fall. It had one apple this year, which I should have pulled off, but I wanted to taste it. Instead, a critter got it about a month ago, which couldn't have been too tasty at the time, though it finished most of the apple, leaving a ripped ziplock and a bit of core.
