| Where leaves fell off stems on mine now new buds forming a few have grown out are now with flower buds. I planted root pieces first of June. You may want to look at your stems for new buds. |

| Do these get sweeter as they mature? I have a 1 year old that has berries, which at first bite, taste sweet, then taste like a tomato, then after fully chewing them, taste very bitter. I pop them in my mouth, chew once, then swallow, so I avoid the bitter aftertaste.... |
