Is pink lady apple trees easy to grow? Are they very sweet

RE: pink lady

They like a long hot summer and are a fire blight magnet; other than that they are very productive and much better off your tree than in the store (and they're pretty decent in the store).

The variety is better with a longer season than you likely get but we grow them here in Z6. On shorter seasons here the apples are an absolute tart.

It is very grower friendly, bears young, some disease resistance and easy to prune. Like so many newer varieties, the apples store very well.
