Chinese Chestnut Pollination, How?

I think most (or all) Chinese chestnut trees are grown from seeds, not grafted. I also think most of them are hybrid type.

So how to pollinate the trees? Can I plant two or three of the trees? I do not know if I can find another "variety" Chinese chestnut.

Can I pollinate them with other type (American, or European) chestnut trees?

they pollinate. get at least two. plant them apart (30 to 50 ft) because, although they are not big like euro chestnuts, they are still big trees.

They are generally wind pollinated so closer spacing improves production. Many orchards intentionally plant them too close to maximize production when they are young and then cull them as they grow to avoid crown interference.
