They are not patented and I never heard a patent was applied for on them.

Wabash was very hard to propagate for me, I tried two years and failed both times. It would grow for awhile then fade.

Scott, I've seen that happen sometimes with pawpaw grafts, but I don't think it has so much to do with the variety being grafted (Wabash) as it does with the quality of the scionwood.
